Engineer first, framework second.

I'm Tabot, a software engineer based in Douala, Cameroon. I started in web development, building responsive sites and wiring up APIs, moved into mobile with React Native, and now focus on AI engineering: agents with real memory, retrieval and tools that hold up in production.

I work comfortably in English and French, and I care about the systems underneath the interface: architecture, reliability, and understanding why something works, not just that it does.

  • Fundamentals, then frameworks

    I built my first agent's retries, memory and orchestration by hand before adopting LangGraph. Now I know why the framework works, and how to bend it.

  • Reliability as much as intelligence

    Every component gets a fallback and a graceful way to degrade. An agent that fails safely beats one that is clever and brittle.

  • Read the source of truth

    Docs, specs and source code first, summaries second. It saves time when the generated answer is for an older version.

    AI engineering at Genuka, including configuring OpenClaw for the whole team.

    • Set it up so every employee has their own agent, sandboxed so there is never a memory leak between people.
    • Configured group agents that help manage each group, send reminders and track the group's goals.

    • Extended the monolith without breaking its structure, adding endpoints that follow the project's conventions.
    • Built a web app that lets non-technical staff safely edit the AI agent's generated lessons.
