Mobile project
Geniusland
Learning that feels like play, built on top of an AI lesson generator.
Geniusland gives children a way to learn while having fun, with both a website and a mobile app on the Play Store. I joined as a freelance front-end developer and also helped with back-end work.
- Role
- Front-end developer (freelance), some back-end
- Stack
- React NativeReact Native PaperTanStack QueryAsync StorageNext.js

What I did
- Extended the existing monolith without disturbing its structure.
- Learned how the project handled endpoints and added new ones that follow the same rules.
- Built a friendly web app so non-technical staff can edit the AI agent's responses without crashing anything, since generated lessons occasionally contained inaccurate data.
- Read PDFs and transformed them to JSON to feed the agent.
Mobile stack
- React Native Paper for smooth, consistent UI components.
- TanStack Query for data fetching and state management.
- Async Storage for offline data.
